Ingredients
- 14g butter (1 tbsp)
- 16g all-purpose flour (2 tbsp)
- 240ml semi skimmed milk (1 cup)
- 55g Grated cheddar cheese or eden cheese
- 115g Grated mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preparing the Cheese Sauce
- Start the roux: In a heated saucepan (medium heat), melt 14g butter.
- Add 16g all-purpose flour and mix/whisk thoroughly
- Cook the butter-flour mixture until well combined.
- Add the milk: Gradually pour in 240ml milk. Whisking the whole time
- Whisk continuously to prevent lumps from forming.
- Ensure the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
- Incorporate the cheese: Add 55g grated cheddar cheese (or eden cheese) and 115g grated mozzarella cheese.
- Whisk constantly until all cheese is melted.
- The sauce should become ooey-gooey and sticky in consistency.
- Serve hot with breads or meats of choice!
