Ingredients
  

  • 14g butter (1 tbsp)
  • 16g all-purpose flour (2 tbsp)
  • 240ml semi skimmed milk (1 cup)
  • 55g Grated cheddar cheese or eden cheese
  • 115g Grated mozzarella cheese 

Instructions
 

  • Preparing the Cheese Sauce
  • Start the roux: In a heated saucepan (medium heat), melt 14g butter.
  • Add 16g all-purpose flour and mix/whisk thoroughly
  • Cook the butter-flour mixture until well combined.
  • Add the milk: Gradually pour in 240ml milk. Whisking the whole time
  • Whisk continuously to prevent lumps from forming.
  • Ensure the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
  • Incorporate the cheese: Add 55g grated cheddar cheese (or eden cheese) and 115g grated mozzarella cheese.
  • Whisk constantly until all cheese is melted.
  • The sauce should become ooey-gooey and sticky in consistency.
  • Serve hot with breads or meats of choice!
