- 400g paneer, cubed
- 200g onions, finely chopped
- 200g tomatoes, pureed
- 50g cashews
- 30g almonds
- 30ml vegetable oil
- 30g butter
- 15g ginger-garlic paste
- 100ml heavy cream
- 5g green cardamom pods
- 2g cinnamon stick
- 2g cloves
- 5g cumin seeds
- 5g turmeric powder
- 10g coriander powder
- 5g red chili powder
- 5g garam masala
- 5g dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Soak cashews and almonds in warm water for 15 minutes, then blend into a smooth paste.
- Heat oil and butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves. Sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add tomato puree, turmeric, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Cook for 5-7 minutes until oil separates.
- Add the cashew-almond paste and cook for 3-4 minutes.
