Method
- Soak cashews and almonds in warm water for 15 minutes, then blend into a smooth paste.
- Heat oil and butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves. Sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add tomato puree, turmeric, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Cook for 5-7 minutes until oil separates.
- Add the cashew-almond paste and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in cream and 100ml water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add paneer cubes, garam masala, and kasuri methi. Cook for 5 more minutes.
- Adjust salt to taste and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with naan or rice.
