This Desi Indian Pub Lamb Chops recipe combines the rich flavors of Indian spices with perfectly grilled lamb chops for a mouthwatering dish. Marinated in a blend of spices and yogurt, these chops are juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Ingredients
- 1 kg lamb chops (about 8-12 chops)
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder (for color)
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
For the mint chutney:
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves
- 2-3 green chilies
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
- Add lamb chops and coat well. Marinate for at least 3 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Remove chops from marinade, shaking off excess.
- Grill for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to desired doneness.
- For the chutney, blend all ingredients until smooth.
- Serve hot lamb chops with mint chutney.
