Desi Indian Pub Lamb Chops Recipe

This Desi Indian Pub Lamb Chops recipe combines the rich flavors of Indian spices with perfectly grilled lamb chops for a mouthwatering dish. Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg lamb chops (about 8-12 chops)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder (for color)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
For the mint chutney:
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves
  • 2-3 green chilies
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

  1. Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Add lamb chops and coat well. Marinate for at least 3 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chops from marinade, shaking off excess.
  5. Grill for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to desired doneness.
  6. For the chutney, blend all ingredients until smooth.
  7. Serve hot lamb chops with mint chutney.

Notes
