- Preparing the Cheese Filling
- 480g ricotta cheese
- 3g kosher salt
- Combine ingredients:
- In a medium bowl, add all the cheeses, Italian seasoning, and salt.
- Using a rubber spatula, mix thoroughly.
- Ensure to scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl for even incorporation
- Usage options: For immediate use: Spoon the filling into cooked manicotti shells or jumbo shells. Alternatively, use as a layer in lasagna.
- For later use: Cover the bowl containing the filling. Store in the refrigerator. Can be kept for up to 5 days.
