  • Prosciutto: 100 grams, thinly sliced

  • Cherry Tomatoes: 200 grams, halved
  • Balsamic Glaze: 2 tablespoons
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh Basil: A handful of leaves, for garnish
  • Salt: to taste and Black Pepper: to taste
  • Crusty Bread: for serving (optional)

Method
 

  1.  Prepare the Ingredients. Burrata: Remove the burrata from its packaging and let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes to soften.
  2. Tomatoes: Halve the cherry tomatoes and set aside.
  3. Arugula: Rinse and dry the arugula.
  4. Assemble the Appetizer: On a serving platter, place the burrata in the center.
  5. Arrange the prosciutto slices around the burrata, creating a beautiful display.
  6. Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes and fresh arugula around the plate.
  7.  Drizzle and Season: Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze over the burrata and prosciutto.
  8. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil leaves for added flavor and presentation.
  10. ServeServe immediately with slices of crusty bread for dipping into the creamy burrata.
