Ingredients

  • Brie Cheese: 1 wheel (250 grams)
  • Puff Pastry: 1 sheet, thawed
  • Honey: 2 tablespoons
  • Dried Cherries: 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Pecans: 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh Rosemary: 1 teaspoon, finely chopped
  • Egg: 1, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Crackers or Sliced Baguette: For serving

Method

  1. Preheat the Oven. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Brie. Place the brie in the center of the thawed puff pastry sheet. Drizzle the honey over the top of the brie.
  3. Add Toppings. Sprinkle the chopped dried cherries, pecans, and rosemary over the honey-drizzled brie.
  4. Wrap the Brie. Fold the puff pastry over the brie, pleating it to enclose the cheese completely. Trim any excess pastry and press to seal. Brush the beaten egg over the top and sides of the wrapped brie.
  5. Bake: Place the wrapped brie on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
  6.  Serve: Allow the baked brie to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm with crackers or slices of baguette.
