Indian Pub Chicken Wings Recipe

This Desi Indian pub chicken wings recipe takes the beloved appetizer to a whole new level with a spicy, tangy marinade infused with Indian spices. Baked or fried until crispy, these wings are perfect for game day, parties, or just a flavorful snack. Serve with cooling raita or tangy chutney for a delicious, crowd-pleasing dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder (for color)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
For the mint chutney:
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves
  • 2-3 green chilies
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

  1. Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Add chicken wings and coat well. Marinate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  4. Arrange wings on a baking sheet and brush with oil.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning once halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
  6. For the chutney, blend all ingredients until smooth.
  7. Serve hot wings with mint chutney.

Notes
