Ingredients
  

  • Quiche Crust2 store-bought pie crusts (or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing the pan)
  • Quiche Filling4 large eggs (approximately 240 grams)
  • 180 ml whole milk
  • 100 grams cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 100 grams cooked ham or bacon, chopped
  • 50 grams fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Crust Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Roll out the pie crusts on a lightly floured surface to about 3 mm thickness.
  3. Use a 10 cm round cookie cutter to cut circles from the pie crust. Re-roll the scraps as needed.
  4. Grease a cupcake pan with butter and place each circle of pie crust into the cups, pressing gently to fit.
  5.  Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheese, chopped ham or bacon, spinach, and green onions.
  7. Assemble the Quiches: Divide the filling mixture evenly among the prepared crusts in the cupcake pan, filling each about three-quarters full.
  8. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are set and slightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes.
  10. Serve: Carefully remove the quiches from the pan and serve warm.
